And of course there is Jack the Ripper, who is a serial killer on the loose. Julia is afraid and is hearing footsteps and voices. She knows that if she wants to survive, she needs to find the woman who has the answers to her past, a woman she never wanted to see again. In the meantime Jack is still killing people.

ENGLISH review:
What can I tell you about this book. Well it was nothing that I thought it would be. Julia is a strong character who’s getting abused by her boyfriend. She wants to escape poverty, by working very hard. Trough the story she’s getting weaker and weaker, and someone is killing woman in her street. Julia hears all this voices and sees people of her past. First she thinks that she’s tired, but really that’s not the case. The people don’t go away and brings Julia down. Every time she wakes up in a different place, and doesn’t know how she got there.

Walking in the streets of England she hears footsteps, but nobody is behind her. She feels like they are getting closer and when they are she sees a shadow. A grey shadow. This shadow is a men, a men that abused her when she was a little girl. It’s taken control of her and has all this time. He tells her that she wanted to escape this world and that deep inside she disgust woman that are just like her, scared, angry , full of hate and ashamed of themselves. Julia gets to know that the men who’s taken control of her is actually Jack the Ripper. In other words, Julia is Jack. I know!

After knowing this I thought that this strong women Julia is going to tell him to shut up and that there was going to be a happy ending. Accept it wasn’t, she walks to a bridge and jumps off, killing herself. The ending was abrupt, like the writer didn’t know what to do with the character after hearing that she killed all those woman.

The writer tells the reader in the end that nobody knows who Jack the Ripper was and that it could have been a woman. The story was great, it got suspense, drama even a little bit of love in it. I just didn’t like the ending.

Good review. This book sounds really interesting. I too wonder if it will ever be translated. If it does ever get translated to English I definitely will give it a try!
