Dutch Covers...

Vogel by Enne Koens: Bird
Berres is eight when her parents get a divorce. She is really angry and on the day of her final exams for secondary school, she leaves the house. She calls herself Elke and goes to live in the city and study philosophy. She meets lassie, a girl who is everything that Elke def. isn’t. Lassie asks Elke questions about her past and she finally realise that she cannot hide from her past anymore.

Webcam Girls by Theo&Marianne Hoogstraaten
After a boos fest in a cafe, Cindy disappears. Her friends don’t know what to do. The lead goes to Romeo The Great, who had IM contact with Cindy. They try to find out if Romeo has anything to do with the disappearing and where Cindy is.

30.000 woorden van Charlie by Kaat Vrancken: 30.000 words by Charlie Charlie has fallen in love and at the same day she tells her mother this, she tells her Charlie that she’s depressed. It’s the first time that she has a boyfriend and she wants to tell her mother all about their romantic outings, but how can you that to a mother who stares to the walls every single day. Charlie is also competing in a writing marathon, she has to write 1000 words per day and a month long.

Eerste kus by Jeanette Molema: First kiss
Philippa and family move to Sweden. There she gets her first kiss, but Wander (the boy) tells her that the kiss doesn’t mean anything to him. She’s confused, does she love him or is she mad at him?

My favourite covers are Vogel (the first) and 30.000 woorden door Charlie (the third). The first cover is amazing and I love the curly hair of that girl. I also love her dress and she totally looks like a girl from the city. I really want to get this book. The third cover is fun too. I love that it's pink. lol.

I like the cover for webcam girls... or maybe I just really like that eye makeup!

But they are all great covers! Thanks for sharing Nina.

@Missie: Love that eye make up too. It's so pretty. :)

@Juju: Isn't that cover the best! I really want that book and it's not even a paranormal book. lol.

Vogel is boring, 30 000 boring, Webcam, not enough and eerste kus too simple

Leanna (Daisy Chain Book Reviews)  – (4 oktober 2011 om 13:19)

Melissa (Books and Things)  – (4 oktober 2011 om 16:48)

Do have to say the Dutch covers look beautiful. :) Thank you for sharing these.

Nina  – (5 oktober 2011 om 09:34)

@Willa: Me too! Yay, that you love it too. :)

@Blodeuedd: Really? Boring? Well yes, there isn't much happening, but isn't that just fantastic. :)
Somethimes you don't need much for a cover to really stand out.

@Leanne: Totally agree. It's the book that I would totally pick up when I see it at the bookstore.

@Melissa: LOL.

@Melissa: You are welcome. :)

Lisa  – (5 oktober 2011 om 10:46)

Wow, so pretty! I especially love the bright colors for 30.000 woorden can Charlie. So gorgeous~ I adore colorful book covers, they always catch my eye in bookstores. And the girl for Webcam Girls reminds me of Adele. :D

Nina  – (6 oktober 2011 om 06:56)

@Anna: Yeah, you are right! :)

....Petty Witter  – (6 oktober 2011 om 09:05)

Well, I have to say that none of these captured my attention. The cover top right is perhaps the most interesting though.

Lily Child  – (6 oktober 2011 om 10:27)
