My Feelings:

Description:
Juniper's parents have not been themselves lately. In fact, they have been cold, disinterested and cruel. And lonely Juniper Berry, and her equally beset friend, Giles, are determined to figure out why.

On a cold and rainy night Juniper follows her parents as they sneak out of the house and enter the woods. What she discovers is an underworld filled with contradictions: one that is terrifying and enticing, lorded over by a creature both sinister and seductive, who can sell you all the world's secrets in a simple red balloon. For the first time, Juniper and Giles have a choice to make. And it will be up to them to confront their own fears in order to save the ones who couldn't.

My Review:
I love middle grade books and when I read the description of Juniper Berry I knew I had to read it. The main character Juniper Berry is a very young, lonely, kind, strong and determined girl. I really liked Juniper. She’s just so honest and sweet. She wants to help her parents and has a lot of courage to do the things she has to do to get them back. Yay Juniper! Her friend, Giles, is really sweet as well. He is afraid and lacks the courage that Juniper has. But, together they are a great team. I love that they become friends and fight for what is right. The evil being in the story is creepy! Very! The story is fast paced and the plot is really neat. While I was reading Juniper Berry I thought that this would be a very great Halloween read. So def. going to read it again near October. All in all, loved it and I recommend Juniper Berry.
