My feelings:

Jacinda was supposed to bond with Cassian, the "prince" of their pride. But she resisted long before she fell in love with Will—a human and, worse, a hunter. When she ran away with Will, it ended in disaster, with Cassian's sister, Miram, captured. Weighed down by guilt, Jacinda knows she must rescue her to set things right. Yet to do so she will have to venture deep into the heart of enemy territory.
The only way Jacinda can reach Miram is by posing as a prisoner herself, though once she assumes that disguise, things quickly spiral out of her control. As she learns more about her captors, she realizes that even if Will and Cassian can carry out their part of the plan, there's no guarantee they'll all make it out alive. But what Jacinda never could have foreseen is that escaping would be only the beginning....

My Review:
A long, long time ago I really enjoyed reading Firelight and Vanish, so when I saw Hidden on the bookshelves in my new favourite place, the library, I had to borrow it.

Jacinda is more confident than in the first two books, she is also love smitten and knows what she wants. I still like Jacinda, but how could she think about kissing and holding hands with Will while being on the run? There are people after you that want to kill you, but Jacinda is only thinking about Will. What the heck? No!

Near the end the action kicked in and it was fast-paced. Now, THAT I liked!

Hidden was a nice end to the trilogy. It wasn't mindblowing, crazy epic,  need to talk about it with everyone (including people who haven't started the series), just a nice end.

The Firelight series:

I read Firelight awhile ago and liked it. But didn't get around to reading the rest of the series. Glad to hear you liked this third book well enough.

Blodeuedd  – (9 december 2017 om 08:46)

I never did try this series...oh well

Heather G.  – (9 december 2017 om 10:16)

I like it when a series has a solid ending! Nice!

Nina  – (9 december 2017 om 10:40)

@Heather G: Me too! :)

@Blodeuedd: Lol, maybe you can find it at the library.

@vvb32: I really enjoyed this series, not the best, but certainly enjoyable.

I read this one a few years ago. I remember thinking it was just too short. It needed more action and plot. I also wasn't as big of a fan for the cover of this one, although, I did love Vanish's cover immensely.

Nina  – (9 december 2017 om 11:44)

@Shell: I agree with the covers, the Dutch covers are better looking. It did could have used a couple more pages. :)

bermudaonion  – (9 december 2017 om 18:30)

It's nice to know the series ended on a good note.

Carole Wooten  – (9 december 2017 om 19:25)

I have several of her books on my shelf but I haven't had the chance to read any of them yet. Glad this one worked for you.

Nina  – (10 december 2017 om 06:26)

@bermudaonion: For sure! :)

@Carole: Oh no! I hope you get the chance to read this series!

@Laurel-Rain Snow: You're welcome! :)

Melliane  – (10 december 2017 om 08:53)

It looks like it could have been a bit more ut it looks like a good series there

Rachel  – (10 december 2017 om 08:56)

It's been a long time since I picked up this series! I read the first two books and then never got to the last one. The year in between releases made it so I wasn't that interested anymore. I have a copy of this, so maybe I'll get to it someday, although now I can't remember the series much so I'd probably have to re-read it first. Glad to hear you enjoyed the ending. Great review! :)

Nina  – (10 december 2017 om 08:57)

@Melliane: Yeah, I would've loved the series more if the ending was really something powerful/epic. But overall it's a nice series. I enjoyed reading all three books.

Nina  – (10 december 2017 om 08:58)

@Rachel: Haha! I know how ya feel! I still have a couple of series that I haven't finished. I hope you get the chance to reread them! :)

Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer  – (10 december 2017 om 09:35)

I actually have book one on my kindle but have yet to sample it. Too bad the ending was just meh.

Nina  – (10 december 2017 om 10:29)

@Kimberly: The first book was really good, the rest just okay. But I do hope you will read it, because it's a nice, enjoyable series. :)

Midnight Cowgirl  – (10 december 2017 om 11:03)

I haven't read this one, but I do like that cover :)

Nina  – (10 december 2017 om 11:10)

@Midnight Cowgirl: The Dutch Covers are a bit better looking, but I do like these US covers. :)

Lauren  – (10 december 2017 om 17:18)

Glad to hear you enjoyed the conclusion to this series! I read Firelight back when it was released and absolutely loved it. Then I read Vanish and was left feeling very meh about the series as a whole so I never got around to finishing it :( Maybe one of these days!

Nina  – (11 december 2017 om 03:20)

@Lauren: I know how ya feel! I did enjoyed reading Vanish, but it was just okay. Sometimes when I get that meh feeling I only continue when I can find the next book in the library. :) Thankfully I did!

Maureen Bakker  – (11 december 2017 om 11:32)

@Maureen Bakker: I like the cover too! It's the best, but it's still fun to look at.
