Interview with...

The Grinch decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. The Grinch, joined by his dog, Max, comes down from his mountaintop home and sneaks into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Whos.  Choose two bookcharacters who can stop the evil plans of the Grinch.

We need some happy characters who can stop the Grinch. Happy characters, now that's quite hard! I literally can't think of a character who is always happy and cheery. But, who in real life is? And when a character is always happy and cheery, I'm sure that she/he is hiding something. A horrible secret. Some skeletons in the closet?

Focus Nina, focus! How about Evie from the Paranormalcy series. She's brave, smart and is a total badass! I think that Evie can totally kick some green ass. She is super funny and can totally change a gloomy situation into a happy one.

Paloma! Yes, I would send the grandmother of Daire from Fated to stop the Grinch. She is such a wise woman, has always the best advice and always want the best for everyone, now she would make a great character to send. She probably would sit down with the Grinch, give him cookies and some milk and let him talk about his feelings. Now, that my friends would save Christmas.

Which two book characters would you send?

Fun question. I send Hermione Granger for sure but I don't know who I'd send with her.

Nina  – (16 december 2017 om 06:03)

@bermudaonion: Yeah, she would do great too! It's hard to choose, right? :)

Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer  – (16 december 2017 om 09:16)

Hmm, I would send Kate Daniels if she couldn't solve the problem, she would take down the Grinch.

Nina  – (16 december 2017 om 09:21)

@Kimberly: haha, awesome! Sounds like a great character.

Maureen Bakker  – (16 december 2017 om 10:34)

Somehow, I thought of Molly Weasley, the mom of Ron in the Harry Potter series. She was just so badass, and I think she can do anything. And I found her very cheerful even when she wasn't.
Secondly.. hmmm.. Katniss Everdeen? She could deal with the Grinch. But she wasn't very cheerful. LOL!

Nina  – (16 december 2017 om 10:59)

@Maureen: Molly Weasley would be great too. Very cheerful! Katniss would be badass. A great character to send if the plan went south. :)

I could totally see Evie doing something like this. She's always running into the quirky characters. ;)

Carole Wooten  – (16 december 2017 om 16:26)

If I could send any two characters, I would pick Kate Daniels and Mercy Thompson. I would love to see them work together to beat the grinch.

Nina  – (17 december 2017 om 01:40)

@Shell: Totally agree!

@Carole Wooten: I really need to find out more about Kate Daniels. :)

This is such a tough question! Hmmm... I really need to think about this. Okay let's see. Oooh, maybe Hermione! She's take him down!

Nina  – (18 december 2017 om 06:25)

@Lukhi: Hmmm okay?

@Sara: Very tough! Hermione would be great too!

Midnight Cowgirl  – (18 december 2017 om 17:18)

What a fun question! I really don't know who I would pick.

Happy characters? Hmmm, I'm not sure. How about Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter and Iko from The Lunar Chronicles?

Nina  – (19 december 2017 om 10:12)

@Midnight Cowgirl: It's hard right! I needed to think about my answer aswell. :)

@Suzanne: Yes, oh wow, Luna Lovegood! How could I forget her? I haven't read the Lunar Chronicles. I need to read the books!
